    Unsupported and camping only on islands, Leigh & Dameon thru-rowed the Maine Island Trail on a 260-mile route from Kittery to Lubec in 2018.

    Race to Alaska 2019

    Leigh & Dameon rowed the 750-mile Race to Alaska as Team Backwards AF, the only team without a sail to complete the race that year.

    Leigh and her sister Clare become the first all-female human-powered team to complete the 750-mile Race to Alaska, competing as Team Don’t Tell Mom.

    World Pilot Gig Championships 2018

    Leigh & Dameon compete in the Women & Men’s Open Classes in this annual championship at the home of the sport of Cornish Pilot Gig racing.

    Dameon and Andrew Carpenter row 70 miles in 8 hours, 4 minutes, competing admirably against sleeker racing shells in our sturdy expedition boat.

    Leigh competes again in the world championships of this little-known sport. Her team of six women finished 21st of 132 teams.
