Another smaller day in terms of distance, with 35 miles gone after departing at 0330 to catch the ebb tide. After steady progress into a 5-10 knot north wind Dameon was slowed considerably and laid up on the south point of Swindle Island for a few hours, perhaps in hopes that currents would become favorable. But the water is fickle in the labyrinth of passages in that part of the coast, and Dameon has pulled up again after slow progress.
